Projects listed below have been worked on as a employers agent, QS & Main Contractors project manager, and where stated, as QS.
We were initially employed to carry out a full feasibility, cost study and budget proposal
for:
- Golf club changing rooms and bar.
- 108nr bedrooms and bathrooms with associated corridors.
- Conversion of offices and stores to 5nr club rooms.
- Conversion of office to gym.
- Conversion of disused spa area to suites.
The works consisted of bedroom refurbishment and complete public area fit out all based upon the Hilton PIP (project improvement plan).
As part of our works we provided the owners with full pre-contract budgets, tender packages, design coordination, project management and cost control. We acted as the client’s agent throughout the PIP and sign off process with Hilton and worked closely with them to achieve the brand standards within the client’s budget.
This was the first hotel purchased in the UK by one of Legacy Hotels clients. Very quickly they decided to carry out two trial rooms, one was a full bathroom and bedroom refurbishment, the other was a considered schedule, taking into account what items could be kept and designed around.
